The Archive Room

The Archive Room is an intimate evening of reflection, storytelling, and cultural preservation hosted by a temporary collective of Nigerian creatives — Chidumaga Uzoma Orji (tech and digital archiving), dr lanaire aderemi (literature and film), and Sessi K (fashion industry).

Through a series of personal and professional archives — films, projects, artefacts, and conversations — the evening explores how creative work becomes historical record. It’s a space to honour process, memory, and the many ways Nigerian creatives document and define their worlds.

You will experience a cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas that highlight the importance of archiving as an act of care, resistance, and continuity — shaping how our cultural stories are remembered and reimagined.
