Gert-Johan Coetzee kicked off South Africa Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025 at Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, on September 26, 2024. Economy

Greenpeace Africa highlights the environmental impact of the fast fashion industry, which generates significant textile waste, much of which ends up in Africa through second-hand fashion trade from the Global North. The organization calls for regulatory actions in Ghana to manage textile imports while still preserving the economic benefits for market sellers.

Brand

Celebrating the launch of her autumn/winter 25 collection, the show, titled "Mosa," meaning "Grace" in Sesotho, honored the spirit of motherhood as Mokubung had recently welcomed her second daughter.
